The bigger of the three, with its 69,60 hectares, it is part of the Castiglione del Lago Commune; it is property of the Provincia di Perugia, and it is used as a public park. Until the end of the 1950’s it was inhabited by a large community, whereas now it is deserted. It preserves some interesting historical legacies, such as S.Secondo Monastry, S.Giuliano Church, and a 14th century castle. Also remarkable is the Water Plants Garden. Recently, the Castle was restored, in order to use it also for didactic-cultural aims (theatre, exhibitions, etc.)
